The ‘Enchanted Jumper’ is a beautiful, relaxed fitting jumper with long sleeves. Extended treble stitches (US extended double crochet) mixed with rows of half trebles (US half double crochet) and chain-spaces results in a fabric with lots of gorgeous drape and movement. The jumper can be made in one solid colour but also makes a perfect mini-skein project using lots of different colours in stripes.

The pattern is available in both UK and US crochet terms.
The pattern is written to include 3 sizes: Small / Medium: 30-38 inches, Large / XL: 38-46 inches and 2XL/ 3XL: 46-54 inches.

Materials:
• I used a beautiful yarn advent by ‘hook and cwtch’ for my jumper pictured. It was made up of mini skeins of deluxe hand dyed 4ply sock weight yarn in 85% merino wool / 15% nylon. For the small/medium size I used approximately 17 x 20g mini skeins and 2 x 50g skeins. In total 440g was used to make my jumper. Larger skeins of yarn could be used so long as you have approx. 450g / 1800 metres of yarn for the small/medium size. See below for larger sizes.
• You can use any 4-ply (sock / fingering) weight smooth yarn to achieve a similar effect.
• 3.5mm hook (or hook size to match tension), stitch marker, yarn needle and scissors.

Pattern Notes:
• The jumper is worked from the bottom up and designed to be a cropped length. However, the length can easily be made longer before the front and back panels are made. You will need more yarn if you choose to make your jumper longer.
• The body of the jumper and the sleeves are crocheted in rounds which are joined at the end of each round with a slip stitch to create a seamless design.
• At the armholes the piece is divided into a front panel and back panel. The only seams needing to be joined will therefore be at the shoulders.
• The jumper pictured was made from 20g mini skeins of hand dyed yarns. Simply join each mini skein as you go. For the sleeves crochet with half of the skein each time and then cut the yarn so that the opposite sleeve can be made with the same colours and therefore the sleeves will look symmetrical.
