Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV came to power by poisoning his father with the help of his cousin Count Fenring. He married a Bene Gesserit who, as instructed, gave him only daughters. Without a male heir he was the last of the Padishah Emperors. Sock is worked top down with a “mistake rib” cuff and back of leg. The cable pattern is meant to resemble planets since Shaddam was the emperor of “all the known universe”. The heel is a variation of a strong heel with some slipped stitch for reinforcement, worked down to a rounded toe with optional ribbing pattern.
