In some cases a knitted shrug may blur the line between a jacket and a shawl, with a looser, flowing fit. Some would say it resembles a radically shrunken sweater. Silk fibre in our LIGHT MOONSHINE yarn makes this shrug shine.
YOU WILL NEED
3 x 100g LIGHT MOONSHINE, 225m/100g (70% alpaca, 20% silk and 10% cashmere) 9mm needles (for cast-on), 8mm needles (for main body), 7mm needle 100cm circular (for collar) and 4 x 4mm double-pointed needles (for cuffs)
Stitch marker and sewing-up needle
GAUGE (IMPORTANT)
12sts to 10cm using 8mm needles over st st.
FINISHED SIZE
One size fits all. Measurements when washed: cuff to cuff 190cm, collar depth 32cm, lace pattern depth (cast-on to cast-off) 48cm, underarm to underarm: 80cm
NB: model (Ella) height 5’ 8”, UK size 8/10.

k2tog: k 2sts together, this will make one st
yo: yarn over; starting at front of work pass yarn over needle to back. When you reach a yo on next row, k st as directed. This should create a hole.
dyo: double yarn over; starting at front of work pass yarn over needle to back, repeat (make 2 loops), when worked will create 2sts
