A SIMPLE TRIANGLE SHAWL WITH WILD OATS STITCH
CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN
Knit bottom up, this warm and rustic shawl is all about simple pleasures. This design came at a time when I needed something with delightfully easy repetition on my needles. This soothing stitch is one of my favourites, a four row repeat with some slip stitches and the occasional simple cable. An added benefit is the way this stitch fits so perfectly into the 45 degree triangle shaping which made the design nerd in me all kinds of happy. Feel free to play with size and shaping on this one. From a 2-3 skein neckerchief to a large and cosy 5 skein shawl.
