I saw the flowers in a row pattern on Ravelry’s “hot right now” patterns, and wanted it to be a headband. To me, they looked like snowflakes or snow flowers. This is a quick pattern that does just that! There are only about 100 sts and 17 rounds, most of which are plain stockinette.

There are two versions, one with a central row of flowers and one without. They have the same number of rows and are essentially the same pattern, the only change is whether flowers or garter stitch is worked in the central three rows.

NOTE: You will need to get gauge for the headband to fit, and will probably need to knit a few of the flower stitches before you will be able to make them tidy, so I strongly suggest swatching prior to casting on for the full project!
