Ebony Granny Squares Blanket Pattern x Nightfall Collection by Hue Loco Yarn…

(This listing is for those who wish to have an advertisement free pattern or printable copy).

Having fun with granny squares!! This blanket uses the Sunburst Granny Square and a Tradition Granny Square laid out in an “every-other” pattern to create a kind of patchwork effect. It’s subtle, and focuses more on the art of beautiful hand dyed yarns rather than a quilted effect. However, it still shines through just a bit. —And you know just how much I love a quilt inspired blanket :)

The pattern uses the Nightfall Collection-DK by Hue Loco Yarn and a 4.5mm hook (size 7). That’s (2300yds/1000g) of colourful squares with (1008yds/438g) of joining yarn.
There is an Additional Colour now added to this pattern using The Frosted Stitch “Grunge Collection”. Please see the last 5 photos! An entire write-up will be included at the END of the pattern for this particular blanket :)
Pattern includes all colours used and the yarn quantities as well as exact positioning. My gift to you is taking the work out of colourwork!

The final blanket size was: Approximately 45” x 57” inches.

Pattern will include:

  • yarn amounts/quantities.
  • yarn colours/colour legend
  • yarn recommendations/links
  • stitch glossary.
  • printable pdf of blanket graph.
  • full colour chart of all squares and their positioning so you can make this EXACT colour copy!
  • full written instruction for the squares used (sunburst granny square and traditional/classic granny square).
  • written and video tutorial for border.
  • video tutorials for the squares as well as the continuous join as you go method (CJAYG).

Happy Crocheting Everyone!
