To make the ornament I simply used a thin layer of fabric glue to attach the knitted motif to some fabric backing and then glued ribbons around the edges to make it look pretty and to hide the edges.

Then I added a loop onto the top and voilà!

This pattern can also be adapted to be a sweet little secular lamb by removing the cross. The chart can also be adapted to any gauge and purpose, such as an afghan or blanket square, a hexipuff image, etc.
