Easter means eggs! And what better way to display than in bunting - bright, cheerful, decorative and calorie-free!

The egg design is based on traditional granny stitches, so should be quick to make. Make them in bright or pastel colours and leave them plain (which is how I like them), or decorate with buttons and beads.

The eggs can be hung as individual ornaments or strung together in bunting.

They are great for using up bits of old yarn, and can be made in any yarn weight or type provided you use a suitable hook size.
