A crescent-shaped shawl reminiscent of chrysalis to wings.

MATERIALS
YARN: Oceanwind Knits Shift transitional yarn set, 70 yds (64m) / 20g (0.7 oz) per
skein – 6 skeins per set, colour palette Morpho; pattern requires about 320 yds
(292m) of fingering or lace weight yarn.

NEEDLES: US3 3.25 mm straights or circular needles to suit knitting a shawl from
the top down (a minimum 60cm / 24” circular is recommended).

GAUGE: 6 sts and 8 rows in 1” (2.25cm) square, in stockinette stitch. Check your
gauge and change needle size if required.

SIZE: 64” (162.5cm) wingspan, 13.5” (34.3cm) deep at centre back

OTHER: stitch-markers (if you are someone who likes to mark repeats); tapestry
needle for weaving in ends.
