errata Where the pattern tells you to put stitches on a stitch holder for the back of the neck, the pattern should read:

This pattern is a cabled cardigan with modern shaping and classic comfort. It includes symmetrical ‘windblown’ cables framing smaller simple cables for a consistently vertical appearance with some dynamic interest. It is approachable for knitters with minor experience working cables, while still offering interest for those with experience. Inspired by the pale Edwardian columns of the historic “Dundurn Castle” in my home town of Hamilton, Ontario, the Dundurn cardigan will carry you through the fall and winter in elegant comfort.

The cardigan is worked flat in pieces, and then seamed together before picking up stitches for the buttonband and collar.
