Here is a spooky set of Halloween knits … Dracula is having a chat with their Ghosty friend in the graveyard. The gravestone can also be used as an egg cosy for your Halloween breakfast. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, sttich markers, buttons for Ghosty’s eyes and toy filling.

SIZES
One size only - Dracula is 14cm tall, the ghost is 11cm tall, and the gravestone egg cosy is 8cm wide x 9cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
