Down the Waterfall is a top-down sock pattern that was inspired by water crashing down a waterfall. It uses lace stitches to portray the water and trees.

The pattern features a slipped stitch heel flap heel with gusset decreases at the bottom of the foot.

The pattern is suitable for an adventurous beginner.

There are 3 sizes available: Small (58 stitches), Medium (66 stitches) and Large (74 stitches).

You’ll need approximately 70 to 110 grams of fingering weight sock yarn, preferably in a (semi) solid or tonal colourway.
Other materials required are a set of knitting needles for working small circumferences in the round and darning needle for kitchener stitch.

This pattern contains 4 pages. Basic instructions are 2 pages and then there are 2 additional pages of charts.

A big thank you goes out to my test knitters: chau7, Drahdiwawal, hells456, hottann, jdsc, Mamma1moose, and sparkye.
