There was a spark from my mother in law last Christmas that resulted in a sleepless night (thinking about the design) an early morning (writing the first draft of the design) and almost a year later we have a pattern that I hope you enjoy, because I do. This tea cozy was inspired by the lumberjack sock and the resulting sock monkeys that were made from the sock.

The way that this cozy is made you don’t have to take it off and it can be stored right on the pot. After you have your hot pot of tea you can rinse you pot with the cozy still on and put it back in the cupboard.
