Dirty Lace
Dirty Lace is a shawl you’ll grab every day when the weather turns cool. She’s a riot of colour, with gorgeous stripes and squishy texture created by her “dirty lace” garter backdrop. Wind her around your neck for a cosy pop of colour or drape her over your shoulders for an evening full of fun and dancing.
Knitted from end to end, Dirty Lace is a long wrap worked on the bias, full of easy stitches that are oodles of fun to create. With only a handful of purl stitches, Dirty Lace knits up like a holiday – effortless, relaxing and just what your soul needs.
Dirty Lace is the perfect canvas to combine a few special skeins of yarn that you couldn’t resist. Mix up a few unexpected colours or work with several shades of one. She seems free and wild but has a rhythm to her changes that will making choosing colours an adventure.
The pattern includes charted and written instructions as well as a handy “colouring-page” to plan your colours. She’s perfect for experienced knitters and adventurous beginners.
