This pattern was originally designed using Red Heart Super Saver in Camouflage, however, this yarn is very scratchy, so I would recommend using a softer worsted weight yarn (such as Red Heart With Love) or lining the hat with a softer material, such as fleece.

This pattern can also be done in brown with a red nose for the Christmas season!
