Deep Valley Sweater
Deep Valley Sweater is a soft and elegant sweater with a deep V-neck and a loose and boxy fit. The sweater is worked from the top down in half-fisherman’s rib using 1 strand of Merino or Cotton Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout. An edge stitch worked with a yarnover gives the neckline a clean and sharp edge. Please note that the sweater will stretch approx. 10 % lengthwise after blocking.

Yarn: 1 strand of either Knitting for Olive Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk (250 m 273 yd / 50 g 1.8 oz), fingering-weight yarn, 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) balls + 1 strand of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225 m 246 yd / 25 g 0.9 oz), lace-weight yarn, 5 (5, 6, 6, 6, 6, 7, 8, 9) balls. Sample is in Merino in Trenchcoat colorway + Soft Silk Mohair in Nut Brown colorway
Needles: 3.5 mm / US4 circular and double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge
Gauge (after blocking): 20 sts and 42 rows = 10 cm 4” in half-fisherman’s rib with 3.5 mm / US4 needles.
Please note that 42 rows in half-fisherman’s rib are counted as 21 knit stitches in a column
