This is a perfect cardigan for spring, summer, and autumn. Wear it by itself buttoned. Wear a T shirt or a tank underneath and wear it open--or buttoned.

The type of fingering yarn is up to you: wool, superwash, cotton, blend …. The dash motif is the interest, so solid or mostly solid colors work best.

Seamed and knit bottom up, it hosts drop shoulders, and a hint of a shawl collar. Sleeves are picked up around the armholes and knit in the round.
