Darksong
Darksong is a textured scarf of substance and warmth. Simple to knit and fully reversible, Darksong works up quickly in the wonderful natural colours of Adagio Mills Alpaca 12 ply. Throw it on and you’re ready to face the cold.
Sample shown in Adagio Mills Alpaca 12 ply ‘Stormy Grey’ and ‘Sonata’. Sample used 275 metres/300 yards, comprising of two 100g balls of ‘Stormy Grey’ and one 100g ball of ‘Sonata’.
Darksong has been professionally tech. edited and test knitted.
Darksong is a companion pattern to Lightsong, available at a discount as part of the Greysongs e-book.
Tension (blocked, worked flat):
stocking stitch:
15 stitches and 20 rows = 10cm/4”
garter stitch:
10 stitches and 18 rows = 10cm/4”
Your gauge will affect the size of the finished scarf, as well as the amount of yarn you will use. If in doubt, stock up on extra. If you plan to add a fringe or tassels, you will require more yarn.
