This square was designed originally as a dishcloth but would be lovely as a blanket square.
I was making several dishcloths for the 2020 Yarndale community project and wanted to use up scraps of yarn. Also I decided I would enjoy the making more if I made something different to simple granny squares!

I made it in aran weight cotton yarn but this could be made in any weight of yarn provided you use a suitable hook size.
