This scarf features traditional Shetland lace patterns.

It is knitted in two halves and then joined in the middle.

This can be done with either a garter graft or the Betsy Join or your preferred method of joining.

Da Nortower Scarf is named after the place in Cunningsburgh, Shetland where the sheep, which the Aister “oo” yarn is made from, can be found.

It is made in the natural colour of these sheep.

It can be altered and knitted to a longer length if desired.

The pattern does not contain the Betsy Join instructions.
