These bright, and deceptively simple color-work socks are perfect for the anti-hero in your life. The thick stranding will keep your toes warm on the toughest of jobs and the stripe up the back tells everyone in the ‘verse just how cunning you are. An ideal project for knitters with sock and color-work experience. Sizes are listed in both men’s and women’s sizing. Instructions are given to work the heel in either stripes (shown in picture) or a solid color, depending on what you prefer.
Finished Size: S(M, L, XL)Please note that sizes are US!
Small: Women’s US 5-6; Men’s US 4-5
Medium: Women’s US 7-8; Men’s US 6-7
Large: Women’s US 9-10; Men’s US 8-9
X-Large: Women’s US 11-12; Men’s US 10-11
Materials
Yarn: Valley Yarn Huntington Superwash Sock Yarn: 1(1, 1, 2) balls Chocolate (Color A); and 1 ball each (all sizes) of Mustard (Color B), Harvest Orange (Color C), and Sunset (Color D). Valley Yarns Huntington comes in aprox 220 yard balls. You will use between 200-300 yards of color A, and between 100-150 yards of each other color.
Needles: US 1 36” circular needles for working in magic loop, or 5 US 1 DPNs if preferred.
Notions: Stitch Markers, stitch holder, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 40 sts=4” in stranded colorwork
Please Note: The pattern should read K1P1, not K2P2 for the ribbed cuff.
