La idea de este cuello nace tras ver el resultado del motivo en crochet, inspirado en los posavasos de infusiones que me acompañan en invierno y en buscar un motivo de forma simétrica y equilibrada como los copos de nieve.

El cuello se realiza con la técnica de jacquard, se trabaja con dos colores a la vez y las hebras se van trenzando por detrás para mantener la tensión del tejido. Gracias a esta técnica el cuello es tupido y caliente para llevar cómodamente en invierno.

Las medidas del cuello terminado son 54 cm de circunferencia x 20 cm de alto. Si deseas variar el tamaño, se debe variar la cantidad de hilado.

De fácil adaptación. Se dan instrucciones en el patrón.

Tiene explicaciones escritas y diagramas.

MATERIALES: El cuello lleva dos colores diferentes de colores contrastantes. Total cuello 60 gr.

• CP: 1 ovillo verde color 8062 Alpakka Ull de la firma Sandnes Garn, (46 gr).
• ca: 1 ovillo blanco roto color EO Alpaca 3 de la firma Isager, (14 gr).
• Aguja circulares de 5 mm y cable de 35 mm para obtener una circunferencia de 60 cm.
• Marcadores, aguja lanera, lápiz y tijeras. Lana de deshecho

This colorwork cowl was inspired by the snowflakes with their symmetrical and balanced shape, it reminds me of the small tiles I use as coasters for hot infusions that accompany me in the harsh winter.

The cowl is knitting with jacquard technique results in a thick and warm piece very comfortable to wear in winter.

The finished cowl measures 54 cm in circumference x 20 cm high. To obtain a different size you may consider adjusting the amount of material used.

The cowl is worked bottom up and has a crab stitch border in two colors at the top and bottom of the piece.

The cowl is highly adaptable and adjustments are provided in the pattern.

MATERIALS. This is a two-color cowl. Using a total of 60 gr.

• MC: 1 ball green colour 8062 Alpakka Ull Sandnes Garn (46 gr - 92m) (100yds).
• cc: 1 ball white color EO Alpaca 3 Isager (14 gr - 35m) (38 yds).
• 5 mm (US 8) circular needles with a cable length of 35 cm (14”), or the required needle size to obtain gauge.
• Stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, waste yarn and measuring tape.
