Yarn: 150 yards of DK weight wool yarn.

Gauge: 23 stitches and 34 rounds = 4” in Stockinette Stitch worked in the round with larger needle, before blocking.

Needles: 3.75 mm/US 5 or size to obtain correct gauge
3.5 mm/US 4 or 0.5 mm smaller than gauge needle
Note: use needle type of choice; DPNs, a single long circular needle for magic loop, or two shorter circular needles will all work well.
