Crochet Mitred Square Bag
Pattern PDF is written in UK/European terms but uses only double crochet stitches. US crocheters can easily follow the instructions by substituting sc for dc.
A tote bag made from crochet mitred squares (aka domino or modular crochet). Bag in photo is made in Noro Silk Garden Sock Yarn (shade 241) but it can be worked in any 4ply yarn. These yarns usually have a stocking stitch knitting tension of 28 stitches to 10cm (4in) on 3.25mm needles. Use multi-coloured, handpinted, or variegated yarns to emphasise the different directions of knitting.
Finished Size: 32cm (13in) square and 8cm (3 1/4in) deep.
Stitches used: chain, double crochet (US: single crochet), dc3tog (US: sc3 tog, diagram included).
Written in English; no translations available.
