This wise little owl is knitted in soft and cuddly alpaca yarns. The pattern incorporates intarsia colour-work for the tummy and eyes. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the owl is knitted in DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
A DK weight alpaca blend yarn such as Rowan Alpaca Classic DK or similar is recommended; 25g in each of three yarn shades: Grey, Cream, and Brown. 


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and beads for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 8.5cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
