These little cases hold the things I need to hand whenever I’m knitting - a ruler / needle gauge, a pair of snips and a couple of chenille needles.

Small amounts of lots of colours are used, changing them regularly to give a colourwash effect and the cases are a simple square, folded to make pockets.

Each case takes about 15g of yarn all together; I used seven colours, if you do this you really don’t need much of any of them - another use for all those leftover little balls of yarn.
