These mittens feature cow, the sign of 2021 in Chinese zodiac, which is a traditional way of counting years in Japan.
The pattern of the cow’s body is inspired by “Akabeko”, a traditional toy from Fukushima.
The mittens are worked from cuff to fingertip in the round with double-pointed needles, or circular needle with magic loop. And when knitting these mittens, please choose from 2kind cuff.

三角あたまが特徴の、手首まですっぽり覆われる編み込み模様のロングミトンです。
今年からはめ口のデザインが２種類から選べるようになりました。

2021年の干支は「丑」
今回は、福島県会津地方の郷土おもちゃである赤べこをモチーフにした模様の牛と、
縄目、ひし形をモチーフにしています。

このシリーズでは、縁起が良いとされる模様を取り入れてきました。
今年は、より一層その願いが強くなった作品です。
