This fully tested pattern is for a simple but effective cafetiere cosy. The pattern includes photos to help you get to grips with this corner to corner technique and making the tabs for the buttons.

Perfect for using up scraps of DK or worsted weight (Aran) yarn. You will only need around 50g. Pure wool works best as it is so warm. You will also need 4 average sized 1/2” (1.25cm) buttons.

The gauge is for 9 C2C rows with should measure around 4”, but gauge is not crucial. Just make it to fit your requirements.

The pattern is for an 8 cup standard Cafetiere but you can easily add more rows before you stop increasing height or length. Just measure your pot and make it to fit.
