It uses micro crochet which is the same as normal crochet just on a smaller scale.

MATERIALS:
approx 5m each of yellow and green embroidery thread;
0.45mm crochet hook,
earring findings,
4x jump rings
Stitch marker
Scissors
Tiny amount of stuffing
sewing needle (for weaving in ends)

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Recommended hook size is 0.45mm, 0.6mm will work beautifully but the finished item will be slightly larger than indicated in photos.
