Gauge: 19 sts & 27 rows = 10cm / 4” worked in the round over chart pattern on 4.5mm needles after blocking.
Needles: 4.5mm / US 7 circular needle, 60cm / 24” length
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle
Notes: Chuska is knit in the round using an I-cord cast-on and cast-off. There are five colours in the cowl but no more than two colours are worked with on each round. The longest float in the pattern spans five sts. Catching floats is optional but may cause a slight pucker in the design. Break and rejoin yarn when necessary. In some cases, it may not be necessary to break a contrasting yarn; instead, yarn may be carried up to the next round.
