A rainbow baby can also mean a long-awaited child for a couple who have been trying to conceive for many years, often going through IVF and fertility drugs to finally meet their beautiful miracle child. The hearts symbolise the love a parent has for a child, no matter the journey to welcome them into the world.

It is recommended if gifting to a baby, to make the blanket in 1 strand of Dk or Aran and adjust how many hearts for your required width.
