This small knitted picture is made like a patchwork quilt. the background is pieced together from garter stitch squares and then the tree, parcels and chains are sewn in place afterwards.

The finished quilt measures 20 x 24 cm (8 x 9½ “) and is a good way of using up leftovers of DK yarn as only small amounts of each colour are needed.
