This is a cute Christmas tree pattern for the perfect Christmas ornament. It is worked flat and is very quick to knit.

The sample was knit with Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift (100% Pure Shetland Wool) with the colours Leaf and Leather (for the base). Cornfield colour can be used for the star at the top of the tree and a range of colours (e.g. Celtic, Crimson, Cornfield, Teviot, Pumpkin) for knots as the lights on the tree. However almost any type of yarn type and weight is suitable.
