Named for my sister-in-law Dee who starts every text with “Hey Chicka” and spreads more sunshine than anyone I know.

Quick to knit, this bulky weight shawl is a large, warm hug when you need it. Small and medium size wearers will enjoy draping it folded over at the top creating a shawl collar as shown, while larger framed wearers will luxuriate in its generous unfurled proportions. Perfect for the confident beginner, it begins with a provisional cast on and garter tab, then you can find your rhythm with plain stocking stitch before getting to the fun stuff, an easy repeat of horseshoe lace which flows into a lower scalloped border lace.

NOTE: While offered in one size, it is easy to adjust with notes provided in the pattern to assist in making it smaller.

Errata: Abbreviation missing - skp = sl1, k1, psso -.pdf to be updated soon.
