Charted Madness
So you design a sock for the Annual Sock Madness (Number 14 this year) and because of its unusual style you get the idea that there’s more fun to be had?
Sure, why not!
When KnitterJoeToo mentions that the pattern shouldn’t be called Adamant Hearts but Charted Madness a small idea starts to grow.
Lol… small idea, that took a few hours to work out, but voila, here you have her. Some more diamonds, some more madness, some more charts!! Enjoy!
This is another fully charted sock pattern1, a little bit of a puzzle but that makes it only more fun. I cheated a little myself and only knit a short sock version, but the pattern has a chart for a regular sized leg.
To knit a short version, I started with the cuff, then began the chart on round 50 (skipping the first 49 rounds).

There is a very limited amount of text on this 3 page pattern. But if you have knit stranded socks top down before, this isn’t a problem.
The abbreviations are all standard sock knitting abbreviations. Due to the charted nature of the pattern, there is only a minimum of explanation. Just knit the stitches as they are charted, it will all work together, believe me! ↩
