Charlotte is a classic cardigan with a relatively simple cut. Its eye-catching confetti pattern is distinctive. It can either be knitted using the stranded technique or subsequently embroidered by using the duplicate stitch. I used a combinationi of both techniques. But of course, you may replace the pattern by your own preferences (e. g. stripes). Charlotte is worked in single parts from bottom to top.

Sizes:
S, M, L, XL and XXL

Bust circumferences (of cardigan):
35”, 37”, 39”, 41” and 45” (= 89, 95, 100, 104 and 114 cm)

Yarn:
I used Drops Merino Extra Fine (yardage 115 yds per ball); approx 400/450/450/500/550 g light grey (# 05) and 100/100/150/150/150/200 g dark grey (# 03)

Materials:

US 6 (4 mm) circular or straight needles (or any size to obtain gauge)

7 buttons, 23 mm Ø

1 tapestry or chenille needle (in case you prefer to embroider the confetti pattern). Chenille needles have large eyes & sharp points. Tapestry needles have large eyes & duller points, and are commonly used for duplicate stitch.
