Starting from the toe, the coloring of the socks changes gradually from lilac to gray. A place for the striped after-thought heel is reserved using a scrap yarn and the heel is added after the cuff is completed. The pattern is easy to convert to be knitted top-down. The size of the sock can be adjusted easily by increasing or decreasing rows before starting the stripes.

Raidoitetut sukat on aloittelijankin helppo neuloa saman kokoisiksi. Sukissa väri vaihtuu pikkuhiljaa lilasta harmaaksi varpaasta alkaen. Helppo kantapää (”after-tought”) tehdään viimeiseksi sille varattuun paikkaan. Sukan voi hyvin kutoa toisinkin päin, perinteisesti varresta aloittaen. Ohjeen mukaan neulottuna terän ympärys on 20cm ja valmiin sukan pituus 25cm. Voit helposti säätää kokoa lisäämällä tai vähentämällä kerroksia ennen raidoituksen alkua.
