The pillow is knit in one piece with the top and bottom closed by Kitchener stitch or sewn seams. The model was knit with worsted weight wool yarn & US 6 needles, and measures approx. 12 in. x 12 in. and has a 12 in. pillow form inside. The finished project can easily be sized up or down by substituting thicker/thinner yarn & larger/smaller needles.

The pattern includes a detailed chart, with written instructions for starting and finishing. Note: this is an intermediate/advanced pattern that does NOT include instructions for knitting in the round, stranded colorwork, reading charts, Kitchener stitch, or Mattress stitch.
