A true heirloom knit, this circular yoke dress features a gorgeous lace chevron design and is knit seamlessly from the top down. Increases for the yoke and skirt are cleverly hidden in the lace pattern.
With a fitted bodice and deliciously full skirt this dress is a classic silhouette which can be loved and passed on for many generations. Knit with the incredibly soft White Gum Wool, this ethically raised, single farm Saxon Merino is as soft as cashmere and can happily be worn against the skin.
This pattern includes both written instructions and full charts for the yoke. Each size has seperate instructions and a seperate chart for the yoke, making this pattern very easy to follow. The main comment back from my testers is that this design is much simpler to knit than it looks.
Techniques required: long-tail cast on (or other stretchy cast on) knit, purl, knitting in round, yarn over, knit 2 together, slip slip knit, backwards loop cast on, picking up stitches.
