Caster
Caster are knitted fingerless mittens worked on double pointed needles (US 8). The thumb is created with short rows so there is no need for a stitch holder or waste yarn. Only one skein of Lush is needed for both sizes.
This pattern was used in a class I taught at Fresh Purls and many of the students had not worked with DPN’s before, yet were able to create beautiful hand warmers.
I hope you enjoy making these for someone special in your life including yourself.
