Carolina Moonseed (Cocculus carolinus) is a showy and slender twining vine that can be seen wrapping itself in trees and shrubs in the SE United States.

Hello
I will address the first project-yarn-row of the prov CO being knit and equaling a WS row. This is ok, it WILL NOT make a row of purl bumps on the RS of your work! As long as there is only one row made in the project yarn before starting the RS chart, you can k them, p them, rib them, ktbl them, or any combo thereof and once you remove the scrap yarn they are simply loops on the needle.

In any knitting, the manipulations performed are creating the stitches in the row below the one you are actively putting onto the needle.

I promise these things are true - Don’t believe me? I’m not offended… and actually, good for you for not! I didn’t believe the first time I heard it either. So I fully encourage you to test it out for yourself.
