Cape Cod
Cape Cod is a slouchy and simple pullover for après beach. Lots of stockinette, a bit of lace, and distinct edgings make for a fun and versatile knit. The Plucky Sweater is a light merino, so although delicate, it offers warmth on a cool day. But Cape Cod is also a perfect sweater for a cotton or silk blend if you want a more summery vibe without any wool content.
The ribbing at the cuffs, hem and neckline really stands out when bordered in a purl ridge, and the lace panels are detailed without being fussy. The two panels on front are actually the separate halves of the arrowhead motif on back, worked so the design slants toward center separately on each side. I love how this lace pattern manages to be both textural and geometric at the same time, and it’s a fun one to work.
I’m also loving the bright pop of color, the comfy fit, and the ease of wear with this sweater – perfect for a cool night on the beach or a fall afternoon before or after the season ends.

I suggest picking the size that gives you 3-4” of ease based on actual bust, however for a more fitted sweater, pick the one closer to your actual bust. I do not suggest negative ease, as the lace will stretch over your boobs.
