Pattern Description: A long and cozy Cardigan for the cool and crisp Fall mornings, all the way through cold winter days. The extra-long length is easily adjustable and the inset pockets add to the many details in this Cardigan. Worked in an easy to follow Raglan style, neck down, with a picture tutorial for easily understood instructions!

PATTERN DETAILS:
Skill- Intermediate- Due to working with 3 color changes, however I include a Striping chart to make this easier.
•With simple shaping for an hourglass fit. Shaping: Really this just means making 2 stitches in one, shaping is easy in Crochet
•Inseam Pockets: Fancy talk for making chains and then working those chains on the next row. Don’t worry I walk you through it.
FINISHED GARMENT SIZES: 2 inch ease

Buttons can easily be added and this buttons up with plenty of room!!!

A bit of History behind the name:
The Canterbury area has been inhabited since prehistoric times. Paleolithic stone axes, and Neolithic and Bronze Age pots have been found in the area.Canterbury was once the main settlement of the Celtic tribe of the Cantiaci, which inhabited most of modern-day Kent. In the 1st century AD, the Romans captured the settlement and named it Durovernum Cantiacorum. The Romans rebuilt the city, with new streets in a grid pattern, a theatre, a temple, a forum, and public baths. Its position on Watling Street on route to the major Kentish ports of Rutupiae (now Richborough), Dubrae (now Dover), and Lemanae (now Lymne) made it important.
