Construction
Worked top-down. Begin with the upper part of the back piece and then work the upper part of the front pieces from the slanted shoulders. Then stitches are picked up along the top of the sleeves. From here on sleeves, front pieces and back pieces are worked together until the end of the sleeve opening.
Back and front pieces and sleeves are then worked separately. The rib edge is worked along the front edges and v-neck. The rib edge is worked back and forth and knitted together with the front edge at the same time.
Lastly the sleeves are worked in the round.
Size guide
Caia Cardigan is designed with approx. 30-45 cm 11.75-17.75” of positive ease. The cardigan shown in the photos have approx. 45 cm 17.75” of positive ease
Find your personal bust circumference by measuring around your chest (or the largest part of your upper body). Then, compare this measurement to the finished garment measurements listed at the beginning of the pattern. Positive ease is the difference between your body measurement and the cardigan’s measurement.
For example, if your bust circumference is 94 cm 37 “, a size M/L will give you a positive ease of 41 cm 16.25”m – 94 cm = 41 cm) 53.25” - 37” = 16.25”.
If you prefer less positive easy you can size down. A size XS/S will give you a positive ease of 33 cm 13”m – 94 cm = 33 cm) 50” – 37” = 13“.
