This quick project is a gentle introduction to knitting cables.

Each side of the pillow has 5 cables (2 x 2 stitch cables, 2 x 4 stitch cables and 1 braided 9 stitch cable), but you could easily work the back in seed stitch for a faster knit.

The cables are mirrored.

The pattern as written uses 2 skeins of Malabrigo Chunky and will cover a 12” pillow form. If your gauge varies (or if you use a different yarn) you may need a different sized pillow form.
