Buzz the astronaut has a close encounter with Zoff the alien! The astronaut pattern incorporates intarsia colour-work to make the helmet. The blue stripes on the astronaut’s suit are added after knitting using Swiss Darning (duplicate stitch) embroidery.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 30g in each colour

One size only - Buzz the astronaut is 17cm tall, and Zoff the alien is 6cm tall.
