NORTH SEA is a collection inspired by the traditional fisherman knit and is a celebration of nautical cables and Celtic twists, complimented by Nordic inspired Fair Isle. Photographed on Unst, the most northerly of the Shetland Islands…a perfect location to experience the wildness of where the North Sea meets the North Atlantic Ocean.

BUTE is a lovely textured cardigan which is semi fitted with a slight peplum from the waist. The design, which took quite a while to do, uses lots of twisted stitches and cabling. Because of the complex nature of the design, the chart in the book is split over 4 pages as laying out it over two would have made it very tiny! I have stated in a pattern note that you can request a PDF version of the chart by emailing me, and that goes for any of the charts in the book. the chart is also laid out over 4 pages in the PDF pattern but I suggest to print each out and then stick them together.

BUTE is knitted in Rowan Felted Tweed and the colour shown is ‘Scree’. The image above is one of my favourites in the book as it sums up the beautiful seascape of Unst. The photographs were taken on Norwick beach, a dramatic expanse of sand with the odd traditional cottage dotted around.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PDF PATTERN IS CORRECT AND THE ERRATA MENTIONED IS INCLUDED.
