Bunny Odile is a sweet little bunny knitted in one piece, totally seamlessly, from the tip of her nose to the tip of her toes, came to meet you, along with her friend Nisse.

The pattern is available in english and in Japanese.
Le patron est aussi disponible en français.

It includes a bunch of patterns to knit the bunnies as well as the wardrobe to dress them.

This idea of gathering these patterns was inspired by a yarn set from Ovis et cetera (see yarn information below). It’s a tribute to the happiness of getting such a beautiful mini-skeins set and one of the possible answers to « what could i knit with it ? ». Well, you can knit too little bunnies, and clothes to play dress-up, for your own pleasure or to treat your loved ones (whatever their age !)

As for all my patterns, the process is thought for the maker’s happiness of having a character truly emerging during the knitting, a very lively little soul appearing at a early stage of the making then growing organically stitch by stitch.

  • No seaming.
  • No assembling.
  • All the finishing done as you go, even ears and tail. When you’re done with the last stitch, you’re done with your little woolly friend too.

All along, instructions are given to tackle the required finishing as you go, leaving only a small opening to close at the very end of the making.

° Knitted in fingering weight yarn, Odile requires only requires 25 g (about 110 m / 120 yds) of yarn to come to life.

Nisse shown here too, is also made following the same pattern : another color of yarn, bigger eyes, same but a bit different, it’s all the magic of toy making.

  • About the difficulty level : i would rate it between advanced beginners and intermediate. The only true prerequisite is knowing how to knit very small circumferences in the round. On this basis, I worked at providing detailed instructions as well as extra tips and pictures, to offer a smooth process. If you’ve already knit a sock or a mitten, something small and tubular, then you can do it !

  • Instructions are written to be worked either with DPNs or magic loop.
