The Brecken Bag is a medium sized crochet tote bag that’s perfect for holding your yarn and WIP when you’re on the go!

This is a beginner friendly pattern that uses basic crochet stitches. The instructions show you how to use 3 colors to create a striped design, but feel free to use as many or few colors as you’d like.

This bag uses bulky weight yarn and large crochet hook to make a sturdy bag that works up quick! If you are unable to find a bulky weight yarn, you can substitute for 2 strands of medium (4) weight yarn. Note that the size and sturdiness may differ if a different yarn is used.

Standard US crochet terms

Finished Size: approx. 14” wide x 12” tall (without handles) handles add about 8” to the length but they can be customized to be any size you’d like!

Supplies: Bulky (5) weight yarn, 8.00mm (L) hook, yarn needle, & scissors.
For yarn I used Lion Brand Yarn Hue + Me (63 yards of white, 41 yards black, 128 yards yellow)
