“There when she comes on us mistily shining
And grants us by silence the boon of her roses.”
~ Robert Frost

One skein of beautiful, lofty, hand-dyed alpaca/polypay blend yarn yields this perfect fall-weight scarf. An all-over rosette lace pattern pairs elegantly with a floating cabled edge that hugs the border like a climbing rose. Carry the summer with you into the frost.

The pattern is written to give a certain amount of autonomy to the knitter. You can follow the example construction to the letter, and place your Rosette Lace pattern exactly as in the sample, or take the pattern’s general suggestions and run with them if you’re feeling more confident. The advantage to the latter is that it will become a project that you can work on with very little reference back to the directions
once you get into the swing. Choose your own adventure!
